LED solar street light relies on solar energy, which is clean, endless and environment-friendly.
The system is mainly composed of solar panel, light source, controller and free-maintenance battery.
In daytime, when there is sunshine, the solar panel can convert the solar energy to electric energy and store it in the battery. At night or rainy or cloudy conditions, the battery shall supply power for normal lighting.
The controller can judge the brightness of daylight and automatically switch on the light. The whole process is operating in completely automatic mode, without human action.
The system features an intelligent solar controller with a built-in light sensor. It automatically detects the brightness of daylight, turning the LED light on at dusk and switching it off at dawn without any manual assistance.
The system is built for long-term reliability. The solar panel has a lifespan of 20-25 years, the LED light source lasts over 50,000 to 100,000 hours, the pole and housing are rated for over 20 years, and the maintenance-free gelled battery lasts 5-8 years.
